What You Truly Do - and Don’t - Own

We've heard about the importance of taking responsibility. Of owning our results and being 100% accountable for our career and our lives. But here's the thing - that sort of black and white thinking, where we try to own everything, does not help us. It often just makes us a bit, well crazy. Because we try to control things we can't control. Instead of focusing on the pieces we can. This video helps break down the pieces that are in your power. They may seem obvious, and watch the video just the same. Because the way the concepts are shared will change the way you see ownership. And that shift in perspective will be freeing, empowering, and enlightening because it will help you focus on what really matters. Because those are the pieces you can impact.

Ownership v. Blame

When we see what we own, we can take this data and use it to bring ourselves up. Or we can take it and use it to beat ourselves down.

And often when we don't get the result we want, we get stuck in blame. Because we confuse being accountable with blaming ourselves for not creating the outcome we want.

Blame does not help us forward. It only beats us down and makes us feel small. This does not make us be better next time. We need a different approach.

That's what this video is here for. It shows you how to own what's happening without it having to be a way to beat yourself down, scold, or blame yourself when things don't turn out.

Take Action

True ownership means taking responsibility for our business, no one else's. It means being accountability from a place of non-judgment and compassion. We take blame out of it and focus on our process. The guide will be a great resource for you to apply this to your self confidence this week.
